The NYPD has issued an alert about a collision in Central Park in which the person of interest fled the scene after striking a man who’s now in critical condition. Police are hoping someone from the public can assist them in identifying and locating the wanted individual.
According to the police report, the incident occurred on Monday, June 30 at about 4:30 p.m. in the vicinty of 60th Street and West Drive. When a 40-year-old male victim was riding an electric unicycle, police say he was struck by an unidentified individual riding a bicycle.

The man “sustained serious injuries about the body” and “EMS responded and transported the victim to NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in critical but stable condition.”
The unidentified individual, pictured below, fled to parts unknown.
